FAQs

How quickly do your straps ship?

We ship items within 1 - 2 business days.

Why haven’t I received any emails from you?

If you’re expecting an order confirmation, shipping confirmation, or other correspondence, please make sure to check your junk / spam email folder. We typically respond within 1-2 days.

Do you ship outside the U.S.?

At this time, Josey Straps is no longer offering international shipping.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but due to rising shipping costs, increasing delivery delays, and a growing number of lost packages, we’re no longer able to provide the reliable experience we want for our customers outside the U.S.

We’re incredibly grateful for all of the support we’ve received from players around the world and truly appreciate everyone who has supported our small business. While we hope to revisit international shipping in the future, we want to make sure that when we ship a Josey Strap, it arrives safely and in a timely manner.

Thank you for understanding and for supporting handmade gear from our little corner of the guitar world.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes! Wholesale orders are welcome. Please contact us to get access to our Wholesale form that includes information on pricing, timing, current strap options and order sizes.

Do you offer custom branded straps with my company logo?

Yes! We would love to discuss the options with you! Please contact us to get access to our Custom Shop form that includes information on pricing, timing, colorway selection, and logo design for your branded ends. You can choose existing JoseyStraps colorways or we can help you pick out an exclusive-for-you design!

Can you use my fabric to make a custom strap?

Probably! Email a photo of the fabric with your request and we’ll see if our machines and seamstress are willing. (the fabric dimensions must be at least 3'“ wide by 58” long)

Will your straps affect the finish of my guitar?

Know your finish! You should be 100% good to go if you have a Polyurethane “Poly” Finish on your guitar (most common). We’ve left our straps on our own Poly finished guitars for years and there have been no issues to report.

Some manufacturers, like Gibson, boutique builders, custom shops, and most vintage guitars, use a Nitrocellulose “Nitro” finish on their instruments. A Nitro finish can react by being in contact with any number of substances (leather, nylon, vinyl, sweat, cologne…) for extended periods of time. If your guitar has a Nitro finish and you’re worried about keeping it fresh / clean (without wear) we recommend removing your strap when stored to be safe.

Proceed at your own risk when leaving any strap on a guitar with a Nitro finish.

What’s your return policy?

If you’re not totally satisfied with your purchase, you can return your like-new (unused) condition straps within 30 days of purchase and we will exchange for another or refund the purchase price (less shipping).

Please reach out here first to start the return/exchange process.
